Kid-Based Gardening

Ellen C. Wells

There’s a new way to connect with gardeners out there created by KidsGardening.org. It’s called the Kids Garden Community, a new and free online community that brings together educators, families and volunteers all for the purpose of bringing the joys of gardening to kids.

The Kids Garden Community, a collaborative effort between KidsGardening.org and more than a dozen other organizations, is a place to share gardening ideas to take on with family members, how to start local school gardening programs and a wealth of projects in between. It’ll also be a place to ask questions, find much-needed resources and light your inspiration.

The Community hasn’t launched yet, so there’s still time to sign up to experience the very beginning of the budding community. Get a sneak peek into the program and sign up at tinyurl.com/db53duwt. GP
