I recently traveled to a different area of Northeast Ohio (the life of a mom shuttling kids for sports, am I right?) and paid a visit to a bookstore for some “me” time. On the way out I was drawn to these beautiful containers and noticed they were all around the shopping plaza. Looking closer, I saw they were from Petitti Garden Centers and they had cleverly included the names of the plants in the pots for passersby to find at their local Petitti’s store.
Not only that, but they included a QR code (see inset picture) that takes you to a special webpage with a listing and photos of all the flowers in the different plantings at the shopping center. From there, they send the visitor to the online store, where they can purchase plants or continue to shop for other varieties.
I love this idea, as it’s often hard to figure out what plants go together. When you find inspiration for containers and plantings that really work together, you want to know where you can get them. Petitti’s does a lot of the work for their customers and also provides beautiful scenery for this high-end shopping center. GP
