AHS Book Awards

The American Horticultural Society (AHS)has announced its 2024 Book Awards, which recognize exceptional gardening books published in North America. Gardeners love good books, and these AHS Book Awards are a symbol of the “best of the best” for lifelong-learning and inspiration-seeking gardeners.
Four of the 35 nominations took home the awards and another five received honorable mentions. The winning books are:
“Dry-Climate Gardening” by Noelle Johnson (Cool Springs Press)
“The Seven-Step Homestead” by Leah M. Webb (Storey Publishing)
“Tiny + Wild” by Graham Laird Gardener (Cool Springs Press)
“The Vegetable Garden Problem Handbook” by Susan Mulvihill (Cool Springs Press)
Honorable Mentions for 2024 include:
“Edible Houseplants” by Laurelynn G. Martin & Byron E. Martin (Storey Publishing)
“Firescaping Your Home” by Adrienne Edwards & Rachel Schleiger (Timber Press)
“Flower Bugs” by Angella Moorehouse (Pollination Press)
“Prairie Up” by Benjamin Vogt
