Gardeners who also like to play with fire (not literally) now have the option of growing some of the hottest peppers in existence. Bonnie Plants has teamed up with Smokin’ Ed Currie, founder of PuckerButt Pepper Company, to carry crazy hot pepper varieties like Smokin’ Ed’s Carolina Reaper (the current record holder for the world’s hottest chili pepper), Apocalypse Red Pepper, Orange Butch T Hot Pepper and Yellow Scotch Bonnet Hot Pepper.

Right now these are available for a limited time only through Bonnie Plants’ ecommerce site, BonniePlants.com. No word yet if or when they’ll be available for garden centers to sell. GP
