It’s a new year, but we’re going to keep running these in 2026. I’d love to see unique pets, too—I’ve seen everything from goats to peacocks at garden centers. Let’s see ’em!

Lido not only has a title at Bondi Plant Brokerage in Flagler Beach, Florida (VP of New Products & Exciting Varieties), he’s also featured in plant availabilities and trade show booths, said owner Tim Mitchell. 

“The ‘Lido Approved’ has been used frequently in my availabilities to lighten things up, although I know many are questioning my sanity,” he wrote jokingly. Tim added Lido often rates plants in the availability emails, like 4 paws up for Panicum Prairie Dog and 4 down for Nepeta Catmint.
