This is Lily, beloved manager at R-P Nurseries in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. R-P Nurseries is proud to be the oldest family-owned nursery in America, established in 1866, and while Lily hasn’t been there quite that long, she’s been roaming the greenhouses for 15 years.

“She arrived as a tiny kitten, found covered in fleas and in need of a safe home. The owners brought her back to health and gave her a greenhouse kingdom to rule,” wrote in Kelly Harkins. “Small, but mighty, she happily supervises customers, supervises the staff (with love, of course) and keeps everything running smoothly.

“Affectionately known as ‘Tiny’ or ‘Teeny Tiny,’ she answers to many names—but ‘Manager’ is her favorite. As long as she’s called the boss and the treats keep coming, Lily is a very happy cat.” GP
