Pets on the Payroll

It’s fitting for our July issue that goes to Cultivate in Columbus, Ohio, to have a payroll pet that also resides in the Buckeye state. Meet Nova, the newest addition to grower-retailer Ach Nursery, which has been in business more than 50 years with more than 20 of those in Marengo, Ohio. Nova arrived last year and is the latest in a long line of Dobermans at the nursery, wrote owners Sallee and Paul Ach. “She is in charge of ‘greeting our customers’  and running off 4 acres of critters!” Sallee added, along with “Go Bucks!”
