A New Superstar in Endless Summer

Bailey, the fine folks who brought the mega-hit Endless Summer brand of hydrangeas to market, is adding a new superstar to the lineup: Pop Star Hydrangea.

This new introduction continues the tradition of season-long reblooming power, cold hardiness and disease resistance. “We have very high standards for every variety in the Endless Summer collection,” says Brand and Business Development Manager Layci Gragnani. “Pop Star exceeds every one of them.”

The intro has gone through five years of testing and trials to make sure it meets the standards of growers, retailers and most importantly, consumers.

“Not only is Pop Star the most compact hydrangea we’ve developed, it’s also the strongest rebloomer we’ve ever trialed,” notes David Roberts, Bailey Innovation General Manager and Head Plant Breeder. “Pop Star represents the new gold standard by which we will evaluate all future introductions.”

Pop Star will be available to Endless Summer licensees in 2022, and will be available for industry-wide distribution and retail sales beginning January 1, 2023. GP
