Master Nursery Hits 500

Member-owned garden center cooperative Master Nursery Garden Center (MNGC) celebrated adding its 500th member location, Laurel Bay Gardens in Florence, Oregon, in December.

As the U.S.’s largest independent buying group of retail garden centers, Master Nursery has nearly 140 vendors and offers exclusive access to branded products like Bumper Crop Soils and Plant Foods. Along with that, members can earn up to an 18% discount on regional and national green goods suppliers, as well as volume rebates from certain vendors. When attained, according to MNGC, members receive payouts from the Annual Owners Profit Sharing Program and rebate programs. In 2023, MNGC members will receive over $600,000 from their 2022 participation.

“We are all very excited to reach this milestone and will continue to work hard to help Master Nursery Members save and earn even more in 2023,” said MNGC CEO Jeff Lafferty. “Congratulations to Laurel Bay and welcome aboard.”
