The moral of this trend report is consumers search early for gardening information. Take, for example, the search for “end of driveway ideas” that increased 19 times over 90 days in late October. Of course, Christmas decorations were a hot search, as well as Thanksgiving and apple recipes.

Here were the most popular searches related to gardening:

• Foliage plants
• Begonia
• Spring flowers
• Cosmos flowers
• Iris
• Snake plants
