Now in its 11th year, the Proven Winners Horticulture Scholarship program is open for applications—but don’t delay, the deadline is April 15! Depending on the scholarship, the  awards range from $2,000 to $5,000 with options for both two- and four-year programs, and are open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

At least three four-year university scholarships will be awarded in the following areas of study:

• The Ushio Sakazaki-Proven Winners Plant Breeding Scholarship: Awarded to students who are committed to developing new and exciting plants in this competitive market.
• Proven Winners Innovations in Horticultural Marketing Scholarship: Awarded to students with not only a passion for plants, but also for knowing how to market and sell them.
• The Rick Schoellhorn-Proven Winners Grower Excellence Scholarship: Awarded to students pursuing careers in producing high-quality plants.

Five two-year or post-secondary institution scholarships are also available to students who are enrolled full-time in an accredited institution in the U.S. or Canada studying horticultural science or related fields.
